Blue Jean Ball 2021
What a fantastic evening we had on Monday, October 4, 2021, at the Blue Jean Ball honoring our former presidents!
The Hawks View Golf Club provided us with a lovely room and a delectable meal. We strongly recommend them for your next event… we almost didn’t want to crop the images because the backdrop was so beautiful! Pork loin, Cranberry BBQ Chicken, or 5-Cheese Ravioli were all options.
Our previous presidents were introduced before we ate. It was fascinating to hear about their prior experiences and how we came to be who we are today.
It was a pleasure to meet our guests, and we hope that they will become future GLWA members.
We also collected cat food and peanut butter for the Lakeland Animal Shelter, which we will deliver this weekend.
Our fabulous Laurie, who was not only the DJ but also taught some of us how to do line dances, brought the night to a close with some dancing. It was a lot of fun watching it! Thank you to Melissa, Laurie, Deb, and Kathy for organizing this event.
